C4… A NEW DEFINITION FOR ALL TERRAIN KITEBOARDING

I have been riding the C4 in irish conditions for the last year now. Being pretty new to the world of Ozone it is a really pleasure to fly with them.

When i was offered the deal to ride for them i was not sure what kite i should be working with the C4 or the Catalyst. I grow up and cut my teeth with c kites my  went with the C4 and was very happy.

The control you have with the C4 is really good. When you feel one with your kite. When you are in the air going into a big kite loop or just ridiening down the line. You should be ether thinking about your next turn or sitcking you landing. You should not be thinking about your kite, you should be able to feel it and understand where it is and where it is going just by how the bar feels.

Exploding onto the scene in 2010 with a bridled pulley less C style kite was something new for Ozone, and the C4 has certainly made its mark stoking freeriders and freestylers alike.

Our main goal for the new C4 was to refine the kite as a whole, offering a better feel for riders who enjoy C kites without compromising the ease and fun factor of the 2010 C4.

For 2011 we are introducing our new Variable Bridle Geometry system. Put simply, the 2011 C4 has two “feel” settings; one that’s similar to the 2010 C4, and another that has a more powered up and heavier feel perfect for freestylers. The system is simple, takes about 20 seconds to change and doesn’t involve adding or taking away any lines. The rider shifts the middle bridle lines up or down on pigtails to change the feel of the kite.

Combining C kite characteristics like fast intuitive handling and unhooked performance with massive depower and back line relaunch, the C4 is an outstanding all round kite for all levels of freeride and wave riding.

Also with a new canopy profile designed for increased low end & parked power and improved catch during kiteloops, freestylers and wakestylers will also feel at home with the 2011 C4.
